The above scale is to be played with four and eight strokes for each note. Commence with four strokes and repeat with eight. The down and up strokes in this work are indiĀ­cated by the letters D and U.
CHORDS
A Chord is a combination of three or four notes played simultaneously. To produce a full, distinct and a harmonious chord press the fingers of the left hand firmly upon the strings near the frets.
